Speed Up Contribution Data Entry with a Check Scanner!

Check scanners can reduce your data entry time for contributions by as much as 50% every week! 

When you insert checks into the reader, PDS will attempt to automatically find the donor associated with the account number on the check.  If a match is found, PDS will bring up the contributor's name on screen and automatically insert the amount of their last gift.  All you have to do is verify the amount given and press enter!  If no match was found then, just select who to associate with the scanned checking account.  From then on, PDS will store the number and make the connection.

Scanning the check and retrieving a match from the database only takes a second or two. This is the fastest and accurate way to enter contributions.  Account numbers are encrypted for ultimate security.

We offer two different check readers:

	Check Reader This scanner reads the account information from the bottom of the check	$499 - Order this item
	Check Imager This scanner not only reads the account information from the check but it also makes a photo copy of the check and stores it in the database!  So if there is ever any question about a check you'll be able to produce a copy of the actual check!  This scanner is not supported in PDS Express.	$699 - Order this item

*There is a one-time $299 setup fee for check scanning regardless of which scanner you choose or what version of PDS you have.  You only have to pay this once no matter how many check scanners you use.  (This fee is required even if you already have your own Check Reader.)
